NDS Engineers have the opportunity to experience a number of different positions on our project sites and in our corporate offices. These positions require high levels of effective oral and written communication skills, problem solving skills and organizational skills.

FULL-TIME POSITIONS
At the project site the Project Engineer’s primary responsibility is to assist the site Project Manager in the management and administration of the project. These responsibilities will vary from project to project but generally would include some or all of the following:

- Site and building layout
- Document control
- Quality control
- Field production analysis
- Project controls input (scheduling, cost reporting, PM solutions)
- Subcontractor and workforce coordination
- Shop drawing/submittal control
- Material and equipment expediting
- Subcontractor/supplier solicitation

CO-OP / INTERNSHIP POSITIONS
For students, the goal of NDS Construction’s Cooperative Education/ Internship Program is to provide an environment in which they can experience the following:

- Assist NDS Construction with management of the construction process
- Relate curriculum with real on-the-job applications
- Explore and reaffirm their career decision
- Be challenged to attain higher levels of responsibility
- Earn wages commensurate with responsibility
- Evaluate the respective future employment opportunities

NDS Construction’s Co-ops/Interns have the opportunity to experience a wide variety of responsibilities in a number of different positions on our project sites, including Civil Engineering and Construction Management.
